Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with everyday tasks such as bathing, feeding, and dressing, as well as monitoring their vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and record patients' vital signs
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Keep patients' rooms clean and organized
- Report any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff
- Follow all safety and infection control procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Compassion and patience when working with patients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
