Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be responsible for providing basic care to patients in healthcare facilities under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your primary role will be to assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, feeding, and dressing, as well as monitoring their vital signs and reporting any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assisting patients with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.

2. Helping patients with mobility, such as transferring them from beds to wheelchairs.

3. Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs.

4. Assisting with feeding and maintaining proper nutrition.

5. Keeping patients' living areas clean and organized.

6. Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.

7. Reporting any changes in patients' condition to the nursing staff.

8. Following all healthcare protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.

2. Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

5. Compassion and empathy for patients in need of care.

6. Physical stamina and strength to assist patients with mobility.

7. Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions accurately.

8. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
