Job title: Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. Your expertise in imaging techniques and patient care will be crucial in ensuring accurate and effective procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to alleviate any anxieties
- Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy machines and digital subtraction angiography systems
- Assist physicians during catheterization procedures by positioning patients and capturing images in real-time
- Monitor patients during procedures for any adverse reactions or complications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment in the cath lab
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
