Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with respiratory illnesses or disorders. The Respiratory Therapist will work closely with physicians and medical staff to develop treatment plans and provide care for patients with breathing difficulties.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and evaluate the respiratory needs of patients
- Develop and implement respiratory therapy treatment plans
- Provide respiratory care to patients in various clinical settings
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings as needed
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to optimize patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
