Job Title: CNA Acute
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in an acute care setting, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and support to individuals who are receiving treatment in a hospital or medical facility. This role requires compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs
- Monitor patient status and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with medical procedures as directed by healthcare providers
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current CNA certification
- Previous experience working in an acute care setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient care techniques
