Job Title: Vascular Technologist, Echo Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vascular Technologist and Echo Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with vascular and cardiac conditions. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and knowledge in using specialized ultrasound equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform vascular and cardiac ultrasound examinations following established protocols
- Assist physicians in interpreting test results and providing accurate and detailed reports
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures in the imaging department
- Stay current on advances in vascular and cardiac imaging technology and techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and/or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to vascular and cardiac imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and reliable test results
