Job Title: Registered Nurse - Respiratory and Rehabilitation
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Respiratory and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with respiratory and rehab needs. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their respiratory function and physical abilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring patients' respiratory status and rehabilitation needs
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educating patients and their families on respiratory and rehab techniques and exercises
- Monitoring and documenting patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Ensuring patients are comfortable and safe throughout their treatment
- Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on care plans
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certification in Respiratory Care or Rehabilitation Nursing a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
