Job Title: Registered Nurse-ICU
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The Registered Nurse-ICU will be responsible for providing advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent assessment and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide the highest quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring critically ill patients in the ICU
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Responding quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition
- Documenting all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
