Guaranteed hours: 36 hours
Pay rate : $70-74/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg unit. The RN will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in a safe and effective manner. This position will focus on promoting health and wellness while caring for patients with various medical-surgical conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patient vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
- Educating patients and their families on health management and wellness
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems
