Job Title: Registered Nurse LTC
Location: Utica, NY
Shift: 8hr Eve 3p-11p
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in a Long-Term Care facility, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to elderly residents. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of the residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing the health status of residents and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and other health indicators
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care
- Educating residents and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Previous experience working in a Long-Term Care facility preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
