Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans on patients and ensuring the images produced are of high quality for accurate diagnosis. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and ensuring patient comfort.
2. Operate CT scanner equipment to capture images of the patient's anatomy.
3. Review images to ensure quality and make any necessary adjustments.
4. Collaborate with radiologists to analyze images and provide accurate diagnoses.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure patient and staff well-being.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
2. ARRT certification in CT required.
3. State licensure as a CT Technologist.
4. CPR certification.
5. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
