Job Title: Med/Surg RN (Registered Nurse)
Shift: Nights 7pm-7am
Location: Chillicothe OH
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
As a Med/Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing care to patients in medical-surgical units, delivering high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations. You will work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and planning nursing care requirements for patients in medical-surgical units
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitoring and evaluating patient progress and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Documenting patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
