Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with breathing disorders, as well as providing education on respiratory health and wellness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy and a passion for helping patients improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patient breathing disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments to improve respiratory function
- Educate patients on proper respiratory care and techniques
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
