Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide quality nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare management and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
