Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your main goal will be to promote and maintain patients' health by providing quality care and assisting with various healthcare tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with medical procedures and examinations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare practices and treatments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current LPN licensure in the state of practice and BLS Required
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
