Job Description:

Ferry County Health in Republic, WA is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a 13-week contract. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes to the RN or physician.
• Assist with patient assessments and implementation of care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Current LPN/LVN license in the State of Washington.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certification preferred or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Experience with IV therapy preferred or willingness to complete IV therapy training program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care tasks.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Meditech.
