Job: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Location: Scottsbluff, NE 69361
Contract: 13 Weeks (Extension Available)
Shift: Day shift
Guarantee: 40 hours a week
Pay Rate: $2600 - $3100 /week

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals orally, by injection, or inhalation.
• Explain imaging procedures, answer patient questions, ensure comfort, and position patients for scans.
• Operate imaging equipment like PET and SPECT scans, process images on various organs, and monitor for reactions.
• Keep detailed records of radiopharmaceuticals used and produce images for physician interpretation.
• Follow safety procedures to protect from radiation, maintain imaging equipment, and stay updated on field advancements.

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Nebraska state license and certification.
• ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine OR CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine.
• BLS - CPR from AHA required
• Proficient in operating imaging equipment with good manual dexterity and mechanical skills.
• Strong communication, empathy, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
