Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN/LVN to join our team on a permanent basis. The role involves providing quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
2. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and symptoms.
3. Assist with patient assessments and care plans.
4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
5. Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care practices.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
7. Adhere to all nursing standards and protocols.
8. Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of employment.
2. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Basic computer skills.
7. BLS certification.
8. Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients.
