Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team, responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the Post Surgical unit. They will assess patients on admission and throughout the stay, involving patients and their caregivers in the plan development and updating as necessary throughout stay.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor vital signs and symptoms.
• Educate and support patients and families.
• Perform nursing procedures and interventions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement.
• Demonstrate professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maine.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• BLS - CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 1 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Shift:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift

Pay Package:

Traveler:

• Weekly gross: $1950 - $2200
• Hourly pay: $54 - $61
• On W2: $22 - $29
• Stipend: $1162

Local:

• Weekly gross: $1900 - $2100
• Hourly pay: $53 - $58
