Job Description

Title: Central Sterile Processing Technologist III (CSPT) 

Location: Cleveland, OH 44109

Job Description:

Decontamination, Tray assembly, decontamination and sterilization of all surgical instrumentation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced sterilization and decontamination processes for surgical instruments, medical equipment, and supplies.
  
• Inspect, assemble, and package surgical instruments and trays according to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, monitoring parameters for effectiveness and compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments and supplies.
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced Central Sterile Processing Technologists.
• Adhere to infection control practices and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.

Shift:

• Nights 11pm-730am every other weekend and holiday rotation
  

Pay Package:

Weekly gross: $1400 - $1800

Hourly pay: $35 - $45

Qualifications:

• CRCST or CSPDT Certification - Active
• 8-10 years sterile processing experience in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Covid Vaccine Proof.
• Ohio State License.
• National Sterile Processing Certification.
• Knowledge of AAMI standards.
• Must complete 5 trays/hour.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
