Title: Ultrasound Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Sonographer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures to assist healthcare providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, and small parts imaging, according to physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce accurate images and recordings, adjusting settings as necessary to obtain optimal results.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and completeness, identifying any abnormalities or artifacts that may require further evaluation.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to interpret findings and provide preliminary impressions when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures performed, patient histories, and any relevant clinical information.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and continuing education to stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography required.
  
• ARDMS certification is required.
• BLS certificate is required.
• Minimum of  1 year of radiologic/imaging experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay Package:

• Weekly Gross: $2250 - $2450
• Hourly pay: $62 - $68
• Stipend: $1162
