Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at our long-term care facility. As a CNA, you will provide essential daily care and assistance to residents, ensuring their well-being and promoting a comfortable and safe environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and provide emotional support to residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist residents with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and maintaining proper hygiene
- Help residents with mobility by transferring them from beds, chairs, or wheelchairs
- Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health to the nursing staff
- Implement and adhere to care plans, ensuring residents receive appropriate treatments and medications
- Assist in serving meals, feeding residents, and monitoring their nutritional intake
- Foster a warm and supportive environment for residents, promoting social interaction and engagement
- Respond promptly to call lights and residents' requests for assistance
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents, including making beds and keeping rooms tidy
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide efficient and effective care
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of residents and staff
Qualifications and Skills:
