Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Location: Gardner, MA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 40hr days shift

Pay Rate: $2282/week

Job Description:

• Experienced surgical technician who is competent to scrub various surgical procedures.
• Applies consistently, principles of aseptic practice to all surgical procedures in order to prevent infection.
• Demonstrates correct techniques for disinfection, sterilization and environmental control.
• Always opens sterile supplies aseptically by verifying exposure to a sterilization process and checking the integrity of the sterile package.
• Assists in skin preparation and draping of the patient and operative area as requested by the surgeon.
• Demonstrates mature professional behaviors, (i.e. tact, empathy and diplomacy).
• Promotes a positive working environment.
