Job Title: Registered Nurse
Contract: 13 Weeks (Extension Available)
Shift: Day/Night
Guarantee: 36 hours a week
Pay Rate: $2300/week local and $2550/week for travel'
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments to patients
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
- Assist with procedures such as IV insertion and wound care
- Conduct health assessments and create care plans
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Experience in acute care settings
- Proficiency in IV insertion and medication administration
- Knowledge of trauma medicine and workers' compensation laws
- Familiarity with discharge planning and health coaching
- Ability to work in a Level I Trauma Center environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with infant care
- Expertise in administering injections
