Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: New Braunfels, TX
Shift: DAYS 8 Hour 40 hours Guaranteed
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients with various injuries and conditions. Responsibilities include assisting in developing treatment plans, implementing therapeutic exercises, and monitoring patient progress.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work closely with Physical Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to promote healing and prevent further injury
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient treatment and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current PTA license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
