Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Shift: DAYS 8 Hour 40 hours Guaranteed
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team and assist in providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve movement, manage pain, and regain function.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide hands-on therapies and exercises to help patients improve mobility and decrease pain
- Monitor patient progress and report back to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue progress outside of therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and exercises
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and best practices
