Job Title: CNA Med Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Med Surg team. The CNA will work under the supervision of nurses to provide high-quality care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Collecting specimens for lab testing
- Assisting with medical procedures as needed
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Maintaining a clean and organized patient care environment
- Following all safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a CNA training program
- Active CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and excellent observational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
