Job title: Registered Nurse - Long Term Care (RN-LTC)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Long Term Care facility. The RN-LTC will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide direct patient care and medication administration to residents in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
3. Monitor and assess resident's condition, updating medical records as needed.
4. Educate residents and their families on health management and disease prevention.
5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
3. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
