Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide daily living assistance to elderly or disabled individuals in a healthcare setting. You will work under the supervision of licensed nurses to ensure patients' physical and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
2. Record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
3. Help patients with mobility and transfers
4. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
5. Follow care plans and adhere to safety and infection control protocols
6. Assist with light housekeeping tasks in the patient's room
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
2. High school diploma or GED
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work as part of a team
5. Compassion and empathy for patients
6. Physical stamina to lift and move patients
