Job title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care (CNA-LTC)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant in Long Term Care, you will provide direct patient care and support to residents in long-term care facilities. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and ensure the comfort and well-being of residents under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide assistance with feeding and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with medication reminders
- Report any changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Follow facility policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Active CNA certification
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
