Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential care to patients in healthcare facilities under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs
- Help patients with mobility and exercises as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
- Keep patients' rooms clean and organized
- Work closely with healthcare team members to ensure patients' needs are met
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program
- Current CNA certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team
