Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) ICU
Job Summary:
As an RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will be responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill patients. You will closely monitor patients, administer medication, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients in a high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Educating patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Responding to emergencies and providing life-saving interventions as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
