Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients with breathing disorders or cardiopulmonary conditions. The Respiratory Therapist will work closely with the healthcare team to develop treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and evaluate patients with breathing problems
- Develop and implement respiratory therapy treatment plans
- Administer medication and treatment as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatment options
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
