Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals. You will work closely with patients to assist with daily activities and keep track of their overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help patients with mobility and ambulation, including transferring them in and out of bed
- Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with feeding and maintaining proper nutrition
- Keep patients' living areas clean and organized
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in a patient's condition to the healthcare team
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant certification program
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassion and empathy for patients
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting and moving patients
