Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential care and support to patients in healthcare facilities under the supervision of licensed nurses. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with transferring and positioning patients
- Help with feeding and mobility
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Follow all healthcare regulations and protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
