Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or healthcare provider. Your role will include assisting with patient assessments, administering medications, and monitoring patient vital signs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Providing direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
- Administering medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse
- Assisting with patient assessments and developing care plans
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborating with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be a licensed LPN in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care responsibilities
- CPR certification
