Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a Long Term Care facility. The LPN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
2. Monitor and assess residents' health status
3. Assist with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
6. Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families
7. Adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
- Previous experience in a Long Term Care facility is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well in a team setting
