Job Title: RN Emergency
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The RN Emergency will be responsible for providing efficient and compassionate care to patients in emergency situations. The ideal candidate will be able to think quickly on their feet, remain calm under pressure, and effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Triaging patients and assessing their conditions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with physicians and other members of the healthcare team
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition
- Educating patients and families on their care plan
- Documenting patient information accurately and timely
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- 2+ years of experience working in an emergency department preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends
