Job Title: Director of Rehab
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Rehab to oversee our rehabilitation department and ensure the delivery of high-quality therapy services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for helping others, and a thorough understanding of rehabilitation techniques and practices.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for patients based on their individual needs and goals
- Supervise a team of therapists and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines for rehabilitation services
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs and make adjustments as necessary
- Manage department budget and resources effectively
- Participate in staff training and development activities
- Stay current on the latest advancements in rehabilitation technology and techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy
- Current state license to practice therapy
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing rehabilitation services
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
