Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings under the supervision of registered nurses. Your daily responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patient vital signs, documenting patient information, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Take and record patient vital signs
- Assist with feeding and medication administration
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current CNA certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
