Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential care to patients in healthcare facilities under the supervision of registered nurses. Your primary role will be to assist with daily activities, monitor patients' health conditions, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
- Helping patients with mobility issues and transferring them to and from beds and wheelchairs
- Assisting healthcare professionals with medical procedures
- Keeping patient rooms clean and organized
- Reporting any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current CNA certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion and empathy for patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
