Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - SNF
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents. You will work under the supervision of licensed nurses to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of all patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
- Turning and repositioning patients to prevent bedsores
- Assisting with mobility and ambulation
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Following care plans and documenting all patient interactions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassion and empathy for elderly and disabled individuals
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients as needed
