Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will provide support to healthcare professionals in a clinical setting, ensuring the efficient operation of the practice. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Record patient information accurately in electronic medical records
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Schedule appointments and assist with patient referrals
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and medical terminology
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
