Job Title: Registered Nurse MEd Surg
Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care, assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing patients' medical conditions and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and documenting medical histories
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educating patients and their families on post-discharge care and self-management techniques
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical unit
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
