Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide holistic care to patients with various medical conditions, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess patients' health status
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
3. Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options
4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
5. Document patient care and treatment accurately
6. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
7. Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
8. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in medical-surgical nursing
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
