Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide direct patient care and support to residents in healthcare facilities. CNAs work under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses to assist with daily activities and help ensure the well-being of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Take and record vital signs
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Compassion and empathy for patients
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
