Job Title: Social Worker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to provide support and assistance to individuals and families in need. The Social Worker will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and connect them with appropriate resources and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social work principles and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and strengths
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
3. Provide counseling and support services to clients and their families
4. Assist clients in accessing community resources and services
5. Advocate for clients' rights and coordinate care with other professionals
6. Maintain detailed and accurate client records
7. Participate in interdisciplinary teams and collaborate with other professionals
8. Provide crisis intervention and emergency assistance as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work
2. State licensure or certification as a Social Worker
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
5. Knowledge of social work principles and practices
6. Experience in counseling and case management
7. Strong organizational and time management skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
