Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - VA
Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility in Virginia is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The CNA will provide direct patient care and support to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in patient condition to medical staff
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Helping residents with mobility and transferring to and from beds and wheelchairs
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
- Documenting care provided and communicating with healthcare team members
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active CNA certification in the state of Virginia
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and patience
