Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (RN - Med Surg)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Medical Surgical nursing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit, utilizing their knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
2. Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic patient care.
5. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
6. Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. BLS and ACLS certification.
3. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
