Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide direct patient care and support to residents in healthcare facilities. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses to assist with daily activities, monitor patients' health, and ensure their overall well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting residents with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Helping patients with mobility by assisting them with walking, transferring, and positioning
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
- Following care plans and protocols established by the nursing staff
- Documenting care provided and reporting any concerns to the nursing team
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current CNA certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Compassion and empathy for patients' needs
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients when necessary
